Internet radio

Many radio station can be received via regular browser having the necessary plugins as realplayer installed. Links can be plugged into the browser for links in Switzerland see: https://www.broadcast.ch/fileadmin/kundendaten/Dokumente/Internet_Streaming/2020_06_links_for_streaming_internet_radio_de_fr_it_V006.pdf.pdf

Those livestream links can also be used in most audio players. Copy a link as this as url in a media player as kaffeine, it is even possible to save it as a mp3 file (after setting the stream save directory in the settings):

Other tools are streamtuner, audacious and streamripper. To send radio a stream server as shoutcast is available.

Use https://www.xatworld.com/radio-search/ to find radiostations, then get their IP and mplayer http://178.32.62.172:8911/mp3 keys 0 and 9 to adjust volume q to quit.
